So as I was relaxing in the restroom today, I came up with this new joke that I am planning to use at the next Software Developers Stand-up Comedy Convention (or NAMBLA). It goes like this :
"Hey, so what is with memory leaks? If you're not releasing memory, why is it leaking?"
I hope you like it.
If you're a java developer, I warmly welcome your deprecatory comment regarding how this joke would not apply to you since java is free of memory leak issues.

VLSI person here so the joke went over my head, but laughing at the NAMBLA self deprecatory reference.
? didnt get it.
ggop :Hey, so what is with vlsi. If it's very large scale, how come my phones are getting smaller?
zambezi : It is a developer's joke. When memory is not released in software code, it is said to be "leaking". Which is rather a paradox don't you think?
It's very Seinfeldian, as opposed to Fraudian. I'm not certain if that's a good thing.
robroy : Well, I could do knock knock jokes but most of the time there's no one inside.
zambezi : By the way someone came to this blog looking for zambezi beer. Is it any good?
i didnt even know a beer called zambezi exists. There is the Mosi beer which got its name from the Mosi-o-tuniya which means the smoke that thunders which also is the vitoria falls that the zambezi flows through.
how you doing? long time no talk and you refuse to call.
I will call you and we will reminisce, my friend. And we will also try and convince you to buy you a PS3.
i just love ur writing and sense of humor..cheers:)
