Behold

I finally had enough of computer speakers, headphones, graduate era discount stereo systems and movie-based home theater systems. It was time to move on. Time to splurge a bit and experience music as it should be. Behold the purveyor of aural bliss or as I call it, "He that comes in your ear and makes you come too".

(Native Indian warrior Chief Snorting Horse shown for scale, also coming in somebody's ear)

why not go for a Receiver based system, with a decent set of tower speakers. These could be hooked up with a variety of sources.

Well, all I wanted was something that would play music really really well and didn't need all those other things that make a receiver expensive like DTS decoders and what not. I can still connect my mp3 player, tv, etc to it.

Basically I didn't want a multitasking receiver, I just wanted an awesome music player.

I don't understand. Is that a cassette player I'm looking at? I never knew they are still selling cassette players.. If that is the case, wow, you can do dubbing from cassette to cassette. That's awesome :p

lonestar : Yes it is a cassette player with a head you can clean with an ear bud and some alcohol. I'm looking forward to that day of cleaning.

zambezi : Bose is only for people who like to say "bose". I like to say "juggernaut".

Do the steelers make up for the eagles?

They do and not because it's a PA team but because they foiled the goddamn Cardinals. Although I was hoping for a massacre. But hey, a win's good enough, considering they almost lost the game.
